The app won’t install, open or show up

Windows warnings, blocked installers, and finding MeetAssist when it isn’t on screen.

Updated October 2026

Windows won’t run the installer

“Windows protected your PC”

Click More info → Run anyway.

The file is blocked

  1. Right-click the installer → Properties.
  2. Tick Unblock → OK, and run it again.
  3. If Windows Security removed it, open Windows Security → Protection history and allow it.

A work laptop blocks it

Company security software often blocks new apps. Use a personal computer, or ask IT to allow MeetAssist.

I can’t see MeetAssist

MeetAssist has no Dock or taskbar icon. Press Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + M to bring it back on the screen your mouse is on. On a Mac you can also press Cmd + Space and type MeetAssist.

Signing in doesn’t finish

  • After Google or Apple in the browser, come back to the app; it signs in by itself.
  • Click Trouble signing in? in the app to sign in inside it.
  • Seeing Session expired? Sign out (⋯ → Sign out) and in again.

No Linux app
