Answers, Analyze and follow-up questions

With Auto answers on (the default), MeetAssist notices the interviewer’s questions and answers on its own. It answers the interviewer, not you, and skips small talk.

Want to answer only when you ask? Switch off Auto answers in the toolbar during the call.

Rest your mouse on Answer for a moment. No click, so nobody hears it. Clicking works too, and in the desktop app so does Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + A.

If nothing was asked yet, you’ll see No question detected. Ask again once the interviewer has asked, or type the question in the box under the answer.

Rest your mouse on Analyze (or press Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + S in the desktop app). MeetAssist reads what’s on your screen and shows the approach, the code and the complexity, or the answer to every quiz question with a short why. It also takes into account what was said on the call.

• Desktop app: it reads the screen MeetAssist is on. Choose another under Preferences → Screen analysis preferences, or with Display in the panel when you have several monitors. For long tasks, click + Add screenshot (up to 10).
• Chrome extension: it reads the tab you’re on.
• For live coding rounds, the desktop app has Coding mode: a small code window you control from your phone.
• Set the coding language under Screen analysis preferences → Programming language, or leave it on auto-detect.

Under every answer there’s a box: Ask a question or request changes…. Type a follow-up or a change, like “make it shorter” or “add an example from my CV”. It works on Analyze results too.
