Answer preferences
On the Preferences step, open Answer preferences:
| Setting | Options |
|---|---|
| Format | Key points, Bullets (default) or Full answer |
| Length | Short, Medium (default) or Detailed |
| Tone | Simple or Formal (default) |
| STAR method | For behavioral questions: Situation, Task, Action, Result |
A live preview shows how a sample answer looks with your settings. During the call you can switch format and length under the answer too.
Your own instructions
In Answer preferences → Answer instructions, write your own rules in plain words, for example:
- “Answer as a junior developer; keep it simple.”
- “Always connect answers to my AWS experience.”
- “Keep every answer under three sentences.”
They replace MeetAssist’s default rules wherever they differ. Screen analysis preferences → Analysis instructions does the same for Analyze.
Tip
A few clear rules work best. Very long instructions can make answers a little slower.
